On September 16 and 17, a new edition of Energyear Argentina was held at the Faena Art Center in Buenos Aires, bringing together leading figures from the energy sector, companies, investors, developers, and specialists to discuss the challenges and opportunities shaping the evolution of the Argentine energy market.

Over the course of two days, the agenda addressed key issues for the development of the energy system, including energy storage, renewable energy integration, transmission and distribution infrastructure, regulation, planning, financing, and the evolution of the Wholesale Electricity Market. Among the main conclusions of the event was the need to expand grid capacity, develop bankable contracts, and establish regulatory frameworks that reduce uncertainty and support investment.

Representing BAES, our President, Claudio Guidi, participated as a speaker in the panel “Regulation and Planning: The Future of the Power System and the Wholesale Electricity Market in a Constantly Evolving Environment,” alongside representatives from CAMMESA, Aconcagua Energía, Beccar Varela, and Pampa Energía.
