The objective of this study was to analyze the interconnection between the electrical systems of Bolivia and Chile, quantifying the joint and individual economic and environmental benefits for each country.

This analysis will allow for the identification of the technical characteristics of the transmission facilities required for this interconnection, in terms of capacity and configuration.

The study considered the analysis of different interconnection alternatives, their evaluation of technical and economic feasibility, and will ultimately select the most suitable alternative for both countries.
